I'm Laura, a colombian production designer based in New York City.  My background is in architecture, and my passion for storytelling and art is what led me to pursue a career in film and transition into production design.

I love the immersion and research that come with every project, and have found in the collaborative nature of filmmaking a source of creative enrichment like no other. I strive to create spaces that elevate the narrative, to design environments that are memorable and evocative, much like those in the films I return to time and time again. 

 

Art, music and my cultural upbringing are the essential elements of my identity as a designer, informing the perspective I bring to each of the projects I do.
