I'm Laura, a colombian production designer based in New York City.  My background is in architecture, and my passion for storytelling and art is what pulled me toward film and into production design

I love the immersion and research that come with every project, and find in filmmaking's collaborative nature an incredible source of creative enrichment. I aspire to create environments that elevate the narrative, that are memorable and evocative, much like those in the films I return to time and time again.

Art, music and my cultural upbringing are at the core of my identity as a designer, shaping the perspective I bring to every project.
